For Grades 4-5
Wednesdays 2:45pm – 4:15pm (Room 17)
Adventures in Coding, formerly called Scratch Programming, is designed specifically for young people who want to learn how to code, but don’t know where to begin. No experience? No problem! This class starts from the very basics and takes you from zero to coder in no time. We’ll focus on developing computational thinking. Students ‘learn by doing’ as they build projects designed to help them master fundamental programming skills. These skills form the foundation of any programmer’s tool set, and they will continue to use them as they graduate to more complex concepts and tools. Experienced coders will work on more advanced challenges.
