The National PTA Reflections Art Competition is a program that encourages students to express themselves creatively and celebrates their original works. The program also aims to increase our community’s awareness on the importance of art education.

Every year, there is a different theme for the competition.  2023~24’s theme is “I am hopeful because…”.  All students attending PTA schools sponsoring the program are invited to participate and submit original artwork in the following six categories:

  • Dance Choreography
  • Film Production
  • Literature
  • Music Composition
  • Photography
  • Visual Arts

Cherry Chase students can enter either the Primary (preK~ 2nd grade) or Intermediate (3rd~5th grade) division, For example, a 2nd grader can enter Visual Arts at Primary level.  There is also a new Special Artist (all grades) division.

General information from the California State PTA available here.
